Hi! My name is Alexandria, but you can call me Alexx.

 

I am a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with nearly 10 years of experience supporting infants, children, youth and families navigate  illness, injury, death, and grief. 

 

As a CCLS, I have an understanding of the unique needs of children and families during times of medical stress and loss. I have worked in a variety of areas including: 

• paediatric inpatient units

• paediatric outpatient clinics

• paediatric surgery

• paediatric oncology and survivorship

• paediatric palliative care 

• supporting children of adult patients in palliative or hospice care

• supporting children of adult patients in the intensive care unit

• death and end of life support

• grief and bereavement
